The foodhouse cafe are looking for experience Barista and cafe front of house and All rounders to join our team, Who you are: You love coffee. You have excellent communication skills and can build positive, lasting relationships with our retail customers. You take pride in your work and enjoy working in a supportive and collaborative team environment. You enjoy variety in your daily tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment. You are personal, friendly, and professional. • Have at least 2 years of experience as a barista/all rounder • Experience working in a busy environment, • Be reliable, punctual and well presented • Have a warm and engaging personality • Have a positive can-do attitude and great energy • Understand the science behind changing the grind, knowledge of weighing and dialing in coffees • Have a passion for excellent coffee, quality food and amazing service • Show initiative and be prepared for high pressure situations • Be a team player • Possess great time management skills and a sense of urgency • Possess excellent attention to detail and ability to execute tasks efficiently and consistently, to a high standard • Ability to preform duties such as working on the till & POS system, cleaning duties and waiting tables • Be available to work early starts 6.00 am or 7am (early finish 2;30pm latest) across Monday to Friday. No time wasters please, Applicants must currently reside in Australia and have full Australia working rights. Working Holiday Visa will NOT be shortlisted.
